Covid-19 Response

As we continue with normal operations, we want to make sure our patients know of the protocols made by Manitoba Health, The Manitoba Dental Association and our office. We hope this helps answer questions you may have regarding your upcoming appointment and the precautions taken to ensure your safety. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any concerns or questions.

Booking an Appointment

Prior to Appointment

You are required to confirm your appointment a minimum of 24 hours prior You can confirm your appointment by calling our office, leaving a detailed voicemail or reply to your text or email appointment reminder You are required to go review the prescreening tool at Screening Tool - Shared Health (sharedhealthmb.ca).

If you answer no to ALL questions you’re able to attend your appointment.

Appointment
  • Patients are required to wear a mask to their appointment.
  • Arrive as close to your scheduled appointment time as possible
  • Sanitize your hands upon arrival
  • Your temperature will be taken with an infrared thermometer (if your temperature is above 37°, we will reschedule your appointment for you).
  • Once in the operatory, you will be required to do a preprocedural oral rinse Personal masks are mandatory

  • Note: Only the patient will be allowed in the treatment area to ensure social distancing requirements are met and to reduce risk to staff (one family member may be permitted at the discretion of staff).

Extra Precautions
  • The office has an air purifier to reduce risk from dental aerosols.
  • Social distancing will be observed throughout office.
  • Your entry, payment and exit from the office will be controlled by staff to maintain social distancing.
  • Alternative entry/exit for patients to ensure social distancing is maintained.
  • Payment terminals are cleaned after each patient.
  • Minimal touching of surfaces is encouraged.
  • All staff and patients are required to record their temperature upon entry to the office and will be denied entry if their temperature exceeds 37°.
  • Minimal time spent in waiting room.
  • Front desk wiped down after every patient.
  • Waiting room and front desk wiped down hourly.
  • All staff are masked at all times.
